Senior Secondary (Grade 10,11 & 12)
Columbia College’s Senior Secondary Program is certified by the BC Ministry of Education and fully meets all provincial graduation requirements. Upon successful completion, students will receive the BC Certificate of Graduation (Dogwood Diploma) — the same credential awarded by public high schools across British Columbia. This diploma is a key requirement for direct entry into Canadian universities. Students will follow the revised 2018 BC graduation curriculum, which includes mandatory literacy and numeracy assessments for graduation.
Program Eligibility
The Senior Secondary Program is open to students who have successfully completed Grade 9, 10, or 11 (or an equivalent level). Applicants should have achieved a minimum 60% (or “C” average) in their most recent academic year.
Students applying with mid-year results must provide proof of satisfactory completion of Grade 9, 10, or 11 before they can register for courses at Columbia College.
