About Homestay

Columbia College’s Homestay program provides international students an opportunity to live in a Canadian home and experience local culture while pursuing their studies.

Each year, around 300 students join our Homestay Program. In accordance with the Government of Canada’s requirements, all students under 19 must have a custodian to provide care and support. If you need one, we will help match you with a trusted custodian.

Our custodians and homestay families are carefully screened to ensure a safe and supportive environment. For added convenience, we also offer airport pick-up services to bring you directly to your homestay family upon arrival.
